Nagpur runs hotter than anywhere else we service, and heat changes the maintenance conversation. Cleaning matters, but so does everything that degrades faster at 45°C.

Soiling is local. What lands on your glass here is not what lands on it two districts away, and the cleaning cycle should follow the site rather than a national average.

Module output falls as cell temperature rises, and April to June routinely sits above 43°C here. A plant that looks like it is under-performing in May may be behaving exactly as its temperature coefficient says it should — which is worth confirming before anyone pays for a diagnosis.

Sites within reach of the Koradi and Khaparkheda corridor pick up fly ash. It is fine, alkaline and it bonds to glass in a way ordinary dust does not.

Harvest and residue burning in the surrounding belt put airborne particulate over the city for weeks at a time.

15 to 21 days through the dry season; tighter near the thermal corridor and during crop-residue burning.
Heat derating and soiling loss look similar on a monthly bill and have completely different fixes. In Nagpur we separate the two before recommending anything, because cleaning a plant that is simply hot achieves nothing.
